All aboard
A sniff of the door, a biscuit and a proper chat about how you’d like them to look. Nervous first-timers get a slow hello.
Harbourside dog grooming
Warm bubble baths, breed-standard trims and proper hand-stripping for the harbour’s scruffiest sea dogs. Sandy paws and salty ears very welcome aboard.
Psst… the bunting spells our name in real signal flags. Tap one.

The ship’s log · one very good dog
From muddy arrival to shore leave, here’s how a morning at the parlour goes. No cages, no rush, and plenty of biscuits along the way.
A sniff of the door, a biscuit and a proper chat about how you’d like them to look. Nervous first-timers get a slow hello.
Warm water, a gentle shampoo matched to their coat and skin, a head massage they’ll pretend not to enjoy, then a thorough towel and blow-dry.
Scissors, clippers or careful hand-stripping — whatever their breed and your taste call for. Teddy-bear faces are a speciality.
Nails clipped, ears checked, teeth admired. A neckerchief if they’ll wear it, and a photo before they wriggle off the table.
Collected, cuddled and admired. Then home — and, let’s be honest, straight back to the beach.

The manifest

The captain’s cabin
Every dog who visits can go home with a grand oil-style portrait — painted from their just-groomed photo, dressed as the aristocrat they clearly believe they are.
On the left, a real photo of a freshly groomed dog. On the right, the same dog as a Georgian admiral — same face, same fluff, rather more gold braid.
